Tried out Heavy Bowgun and, have to say, it was fun to be able to just stun lock a monster solo!
Not sure if I will give it up for bow, but it does make good dodge training!
Also,
THE BEAUTIFUL SOUND OF A BARRAGE OF DRILL SHAPED BULLETS & MONSTER WAILS!
Mwahahahahha!
Doesn't get any better as a gunner! XD

It was actually the heavy bowgun that they showed, woopsies
why is it impossible? Adept bow is pretty great in generations, plus with the addition of the elemental coatings you've got more damage options

It's because of the way that you have to aim on handhelds, because you have to either have an extra thumbstick or rely on the aim lock system!
I missed the Wii U controls for 3 Ultimate!Β

Aah, I gotcha, understandable, it takes some getting used to to be accurate with the bowguns and such.
But I've been playing since freedom unite, for which I developed the claw grip (Thumb on stick, index finger on d-pad

Also bowguns are fine! Its the bow that is the hardest to master on handhelds, due to ensuring your hitting that optimal range at just the right angle!

Hmm, I did try bow recently and it was pretty tough, though I'm just not used to it anymore, used to bow in freedom unite.
Man I can't wait to get back to the ol' faithful greatsword in MH World, that new shoulder tackle looks dope :3

It does do KO damage! If you look closely at the gameplay you see a different particle effect when he hits with the tackle instead of the blade so it's safe to assume it's KO damage

In terms of favorite all around?
I would have to say the Seltas Queen takes the cake.
It's design, lore, weapons and even armor make for some of the main reasons I got into MonHun in the first place.
Literally every time I see one, I think, "HOLY CRAP YES! I WANT TO FIGHT THE CRAP OUT OF YOU! GIVE ME A BATTLE WORTH FIGHTING!"
It's like a living tank that can call on reinforcements and use that reinforcement to become Gurren Lagann!Β
Lagiacrus, Zinogre and The Magalas take the cake in second, as all three monsters literally scarred me for life with their battles when I first fought them! XD (GORE YOU JERK! STOP RAGING THIS SECOND YOUNG MAN!)
