As for those who re-color horses on a regular basis, I have a whole new respect for your VAST AMOUNT of patience, persistence, and knowledge of horsey anatomy.

There were 276 feathers in one wing. How do I know this? Because there were 276 layers after I had finished drawing them all
So of course, the second wing was just a flipped over copy of the first one xD

Thank ya. I do believe there's at least three different colors I was working with to produce that fire, not including the shades that turned up when I started blending everything together.
