"You haven't really thought of all you have to lose, do you?" Tom asked darkly. "You don't want to be my weapon? Fine. But then, you're just another ghost. And my men are well-trained to kill ghosts."Gregor glared weakly at him and replied, "Yeah? Well, don't think I'll make it easy for them. You might need to hire a lot more hunters after this…"
"Oh no," Tom said with a chuckle. "They are not going to engage unless I tell them. I have no interest in them killing you, Gregor. And like I said, I'm not going to kill you, either… "
The hunter narrowed his eyes as he revealed, "Valerie is."
Gregor's eyes widened with horror.
Right then, static came from the radio, followed by his friend's voice.
"Agent C, I am locked on the target's ecto-energy and nearing its location. Am I clear to engage?"
Tom clicked on the radio, and replied, "Yes. Shoot to kill."

My gosh! This is amazing! I absolutely loved seeing the recording on youtube of you drawing this. It was a real treat. I love how you can see things that usually end up all but hidden once the drawing is complete. Really makes you appreciate the final piece more.
I also get all the more excited when I see you draw Gregor in dragon form. I was thinking back to what you told me about ‘animals’ not being your forte, and you specialize more in ‘people’ drawings. So, the fact that you’re willing to take on the task is all the more awing.
Man, you did an amazing job with Gregor. The pose is so cool. You can just see his pain he’s going through. I don’t know why but I always get so happy when you draw his ripped wing. Lol! It’s the details that make the drawing so real; plus it is a reminder of all Gregor’s been through.
Valerie looks scary. But it’s so heartbreaking to see her hurting her friend. If she only knew…
More than anything, I love the angle of this drawing. It’s so perfect for this scene. The angle brings it closer, right in your face. It only adds to the intensity of the scene.
I also love the colors and drawing style you use. It adds to the dark emotional feel of what’s happening. I think the only critique I have is that for some reason, you lost your blues in the final color scheme. They were there in the first layers of the drawing. Gregor’s energy looked blue as it should, but by the end of it, it turned pink. Maybe too much layering? Not sure.
But all the same, beautiful drawing. I love it! And I had hoped you draw something from that scene. It was one of my favorite scenes from this last chapter.

dang it. I wanted to review before you commented. Gah! But I always end up drawing ;___;
As for the blue, it looks sorta purple because of the lighting. I was pushing for a limited palette (red/pink/purple -- an ode to valerie, haha) so all my colors are closely related to each other. I forced myself to push Valerie slightly out of that in order to have her pop out to the audience more because she's in the foreground. The ectoplasm is the only exception, and that was intended because it is so otherworldly it looks out of place. It also helped it read correctly as ectoplasm. I thought about forcing some cleaner blues back in there, but I want to stay away from that--I want my colors to be relative. Still, I might have overdone it 
This was the most fun thing to paint. I absolutely loved it. I really enjoy painting so broadly and freely. Though the canvas of this is fairly large, I worked the vast majority of it really zoomed out and very loosely, which is my preferred method as I can keep the whole in mind instead of getting stuck on the details, which is super frustrating.
I am ecstatic you like this painting, though! I know I have not said much about the chapter, which was also in purpose. Make you suffer back, hahaha! But no, I'll say something now since I'm taking forever to review:
This chapter fed my children, watered my crops, and cleared my skin. 13/10

That last chapter was a rollercoaster! Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. Poor Gregor. He has enough pain 😣
Tom is so manipulative. He knew exactly what to do to punish Gregor. At least none of them died.
Hopefully Valerie figures it out.
Well anyway, you know I always love your artwork. This piece looks amazing. I can feel his deperation through the expression and darl colors. Great job!

This scene....Oh, the feelings. My heart sank when I read this scene. I felt so sorry for Gregor. And now I'm seeing your beautiful drawing and the feels are all coming back again...Tom, you're heartless. How could you?
Such a powerful scene. Gregor begging Tom not to turn Valerie against him. His fear, his panic, his desperation. The drawing is absolutely amazing. The soft coloring is gorgeous, and I really love the perspective you've used. Gregor's dragon pose is fantastic, and I really like how you used Valerie, giving the impression she's racing toward her target at full speed.
You can see Gregor's desperation. Against any other hunter he would have fought back. But against Valerie...he would rather let her kill him than to hurt her.

It was a fairly difficult scene to try to capture, and I did cheat a bit and use artistic licence to tweak things around (such as the fire around them is not instigated by gregor, so it should probably be another color...HOWEVER, it was a result of a ghost weapon so, who knows-- or maybe he accidentally set everything on fire that time he fired in instinct :>) but I am very happy with how it turned out. Surprisingly, I don't do fantasy or sci-fi art very often so this was a treat

Its a great picture, but it portrays one of the worst moments in the story. All that betrayal and hatred, it's hard to swallow.
