I drew young Gregor and Freakshow, so it is fitting I draw young Gregor and Tom, no? Here Gregor looks a bit more like his older self and I LOVE ITI've been rereading parts of DoaS. This is based on when Gregor was recuperating from his wing injury at Tom's house.
TOM IS VERY DIFFICULT but incredibly fun to draw. He, along with Gregor are such fascinating characters that is is a pleasure to read bout them to try figure them out and capture their essence in my drawings. Tom is... strong, cunning, smart, and yet very obsessive and ruthless which makes him quite a puzzling character ...which is something I enjoy much more than Gregor, who likes to keep things "simple." I could easily devote to him a bunch of drawings (like I've done with Gregor) as he really inspires me to draw--how concerning. I do not need a Tom muse.
ahh, I'll try to make my next pearlverse drawing not Gregor related. Yeah, right.

Ahhhhh…. Now we come to Tom and Gregor. Yes. We needed a nice picture between these two. I love seeing Gregor in his young vulnerable state. I want to say he’s come a long way, but deep down, even at his age of 20, he is still as vulnerable and dependant of Tom as always… He’s just better at hiding it now. *smirks*
I also loved this particular scene in the story. Tom’s creepy smile says it all. Who would think a ghost hating agent would grow to value (not saying love, because Tom loves no one but himself) a GHOST. It is very ironic. But that evil smile on his face shows how twisted his care for Gregor is. More than anything, he sees him as an asset to his plans. But he also gets a kick out of seeing how much Gregor needs him. It has always been his plan to make the kid cling to him in the ways he can never do with Freakshow. Heh… If only Gregor knew, Tom’s plan is to eventually turn him against Freakshow? He just needs to make sure Gregor doesn’t turn on him, too. And what better way than messing with the kids’ emotions and making him think he needs Tom?
I don’t know which type of control is more evil.
But you really can’t help to love their creepy relationship. I will tell you, these two got minds of their own. I never planned for them to develop like this, let alone to make them such important characters, especially Gregor… But they have flourished so well. I love how they came out. Here’s me chancing to sound conceited, but I am very proud of myself for these two. They are awesome characters. I enjoy writing them almost as much as Danny and Vlad!
Anyways, back to your drawing. Sorry, but your drawings make me reminisce on the story and what’s happened. But yeah, Tom is one crazy genius dude! That bald look makes him look even more bad***
I can’t recall if I have ever seen you draw him back when he had hair! Lol! Now I just can’t picture him with it. All the white in this room is just… creepy? Yeah. Tom’s outfit against the white background. It looks like He’s keeping Gregor in a lab instead of a room.
You did an amazing job of capturing Tom’s expression in this scene again. I love his little quirks, too, like sitting backwards in the chair when he’s relaxed. It’s the small details that you pay attention to that I love the most.
And there is Gregor. Cute wounded Gregor… He looks more like a wounded animal than a kid in this one. I can’t blame him, though. He’s obviously tense and angry and scared with Tom’s presence. And he’s probably starving too. Poor Kid can only deal with so many emotions, you know? But his expression is perfect for this scene. Kudos on his hair, too! You didn’t forget his black and white hair!
I think what tops the picture is that dragonfly! It just adds to the overall emotion and story between these two. Every time I look at it, I smirk. Gregor loves that thing so much for more reasons that neither Gregor or Tom fully know. That dragonfly is Gregor’s life. I don’t know what he’d do without that thing. And as you know, he also likes to pretend it’s his brother Elliot. Hahaha!
Really awesome drawing. I love the different angle on this one, too. The two are focused on each other, so it’s like we are intruding in their moment here. It’s really cool.

I have not drawn Tom a lot. I'd like to draw him with hair. I may do that for fun.

Ah yes, Tommy has always been very jealous of Gregor. He got rid of Damon for that reason, and he's planning on doing the same with whoever it is that has him so distracted recently. Heh. I like that. I like their relationship. It's so messed up so so interesting.

So, you know how I've been listening to Muse lately, well, they recently came out with a new album Drones. I'm sure you've heard some in the radio, or not. Anyway, The album shows a soldier's experience with the war. The first song "Dead Inside" describes a soldier's mentality before joining the war, "Psycho" is his recruitment (the only explicit song, I do hope they come out with a clean version ...it's so goood), then there's "Mercy", "Reapers," "The Handler", "Defector," "Revolt" "Aftermath," "The Globalist," and "Drones." The music is amazing and the lyrics are so so good and thoughtful. I'm very impressed with the album. Especially because it's so Gregor .

The whole album is like that. Actually, most of Muse's songs can be Gregor in one way or another. Lol. I've listened to them so much with Gregor in mind that I've attached Matt's amazing (seriously, his singing? wow) voice to Gregor <3
I like how different the album is, It's not about love or money or whatever. It's about war and freedom.
