i wasn't trying to offend you, it was meant as a compliment since gamzee is a very popular and attractive character to many. try not to get so defensive just because someone compares your art to something else. it makes you seem like the complete opposite of humble.

It's the opposite of uplifting when anyone says;
Oh this character looks like "____"
It makes them feel like their hard work has gone down the drain.
Rips away their proudness, makes them feel bad.
I know I certainly don't take comparison as a compliment.
