For Torch, Kraft, Swellow and Meliah mostly~~
A pair of Soul Fire Tribe’s submissive tokotas called Kraft Lawrence and Swellow had come over for a visit. The liver pointed merle male and lilac female had traveling through the night to get there. The two young ones were in an adventurous mood, keen to get out and explore and getting too restless to spend much more of their morning in one spot, in the large kennels of Fort Dream Drifter. Worried their restless mood would lead Kraft and Swellow eventually in to a destructive mode, one of the older tokotas offered to take them out for a walk. Even though Meliah was starting to get ‘old’ the pure white dominant albino could get into a super playful mood and still very much able to challenge youth to races and fishing or hunting activities. She was very much capable of keeping them in line if the submissives were to cause any trouble.

Halvorsen’s Torch was not a very bold and in your face with confidence kind of lady. So she may have been internally feeling a little bit nervous to be going out on a fishing trip with not just one, not even two, but three! Tokotas from a different owner. Torch was feeling a pang of pressure from expectations, her sire Halvorsen’s Inferno had the fisher trait and she has also been blessed with it but this was to be her first time fishing with strangers. Torch hoped that she would not make a fool out of herself in front of the group of Tokotas Torch has been set up with for this activity.

Meliah trotted along with her submissive tribe mates Kraft Lawrence and Swellow in tow. The white female silently thinking of a plan for the day as the went. They probably would not be interested in a tour of Fort Dream Drifters grounds, though it was packed full of a variety of animals and fantasy creatures. Maybe the cattle would be viewed as prey... so maybe not a good idea.

Meliah looked over her shoulder to check Kraft and Swellow were still there, the albino let out a soft chuckle at what she saw. Swellow was pushing a apple along the ground with her muzzle, ‘headbutting’ it so it rolled out a little way in front of her and then trying to get her muzzle to it again before Krat swooped in from her side to get it.

An idea popped into Meliah’s head as she remembered that there might be a group out on a fishing activity in the area. Most likely they would be at the pond - which was almost marshland with how the body of water was shaped and how shallow plus muddy it could get around the water’s edge. They could probably catch up if they picked up the pace. It would be a good opportunity to watch a team fishing activity so they would be better equipped for it when they go out on their own.

“Hey! Do you pups fancy a race to the pond?” Meliah’s raised curled tail swayed. She also wanted to run. Kraft Lawrence and Swellow barked their interest. “Just keep running straight between those trees and you should eventually see it.”

Halvorsen’s Torch was quick to learn just how quick these fish could swim after a couple of snaps and only receiving a mouthful of water or grass reeds. Torch heaved in a breath and let it out slowly, trying to clear and calm her mind. Torch was more level headed than this, if she lets frustration get to her then the fish will win and the other tokotas on this activity will be secretly judging her.

Just have some patience she told herself. It has to be about timing. Torch took up a position a small way into the water. She waited for a couple of fish to swim past her, thinking about the timing. Torch would get the next one she aimed for. She was determined.

Meliah at first was running at a more slower end pace to give Kraft and Swellow that competitive fire to chase her but these two submissive tribe mates seemed to be a lot more faster than the white tokota has expected. Meliah naturally stepped up her pace. Every now and then a glance over her shoulder to check the other two were ok.

Kraft’s tongue was flopping out of his mouth, he had no idea he could run this distance without stopping. Swellow was only a small distance behind him, the lilac female’s slightly shorter legs might have caused it or that she might have worn out a bit of her battery while playing with that apple. The smell of water and fish got stronger, and that was enough to push him to try and run faster - or just try to run all the way up to the clearing.

Meliah skidded somewhat awkwardly to a halt as she came through the tree line, suddenly realising there was lots of rocks and boulders jutting out of the ground on the side of the pond. She let out a warning bark to the two following her to slow downnn. The last thing she would want is for her tribe mates to come to any harm.

Meliah let out a breath of relief as she watched the liver pointed Kraft Lawrence and Swellow bring down their speed enough to place their in between or over the various sized stones that littered the ‘entrance’. She lowered herself down to rest on one large flat stone. The two younger ones looked exhausted. Their tongues hanging out and breaths coming in heavy, lound pants.
Swellow somehow managed to run the distance and avoid injury from the rocks that suddenly appeared. Her heart hammering behind the walls of her lilac chest. Swellow wanted to sit next to Meliah so she picked her way over the remaining rocks.
It took a couple of moment for the submissive ones to realise there was other tokotas nearby apart from the ones they came here with. 2 dires, a barbary and a normal mane were moving about the water's edge or in the liquid. This must have been the reason the white female had lead them here to watch a Fishing Activity. Swellows dark lilac ears perked up to listen, both sets of submissive eyes turned towards the fishing Tokotas.
The tawny normal build and a brown barbery were in the water, both hunched down low and poised to strike.

SPLASH!
Swellow and Kraft looked on with eyes wide trying to catch any details, but It was over in a flash of brown fur and a mini tide of water and both tokotas emerging victorious with fish in between their mawz.
