This has a lot to do with the things going on in my life at the moment, so the feelings are deep, it's not too bloody... But it still hurts when friends stab you from behind...

Okay, first of all.. this is really good. I mean it. Nice composition, great expressions (which is like woah because who's that good at showing expressions on dragons?!), good use of color... I think you set the mood very nicely. I really love the green dragon's hair... all the different colors and lines make it look really textured and wild. Love it.
Okay, so here's the part where I yell at you. I know you did this on the quick considering finals and all that, but OMG refine! I know you know how... I've seen you paint woman! Lately I've noticed that all of your stuff looks just a tad bit blurry... honestly this is better than most of those as far as that goes, but I think you could stand to work on it more.
Okay, nuff yelling. Lol. Here's stuff that I just wanted to point out. When I first looked at this, no lie... I'm really stupid and for some reason thought they were tiny and on a table. ANd then I asked myself, "Jenni, why would they be tiny and on a table?" And then I realized it was a cliff... now, the reason it does't look like a cliff to me: 1, it doesn't show much of the cliff underneath them.. it cuts of before you really get that.. 2, if there were birds or something in the bg of the sky I think it would read better as a high up/out doors scene... and the secret 3rd reason: I'm stupid and don't think.
The other thing.. now I'm not sure how you could fix this but... I thought that Lazzy was leaking. It looks like water to me... I know the element is water so like does he bleed water? If that's not what you were going for, then I think the fact that its on top of the reddish rocks, and has white highlihts makes the blood read kind of like water.
Anyway, theses are minor things and I'm nit-picking... esp since I haven't done any paintings lately so like who the heck am I to say your work is unrefined right? Lol. Anyway, aweomse piece and the emotions really show through... you rock at that. Really. I love your work because you always do such a wonderful job expressing, not just with a character's face, but with thier body language. This is a great example of that. ^_^

Hehe, like I said, I can imagine with school it's kind of hard to spend more than a few hours on one thing... honestly I'm amazed that you can find 4 hours to paint... I never painted or drew anything at school... it just killed it for me. LOL and I'm retarded about the background... who would think it's a table? Me, that's who. Yay! Congrats! That's really cool... I guess it was worth never sleeping then lol. And yay for sculpting... I want to get into sculpting actually... do you have any suggestions on what to get? Because it's not like I have a kilm at my disposal... or do they have ones you could go to and pay to use? Or maybe I should just take a class at that rate! lol. Anyway, talk to you laters. believe it or not, we use sulpy, or super sculpy. You can find it in 8lb boxes, and the pros use it as well. ^^ White is the best color, since it works great for contour and shadows, and understanding your shapes by the shadows cast. But super sculpy is better, so buy it (it's pink ><;

wow, thanks jenny!!! <^.=.^> I haven't had a critique in a looooooong time, haha. Yes, very true, my work as of late has been oober blurry, hehe... And I know this one as an image is probably pretty bad as well, concidering it was sketched and painted in 4 hours >.=.<;; Not sure why, but I've been rushing my work a lot latelt, and I have to quit it or I'll never improve. And the background XD hahaha, I so didn't feel like drawing the background, I was teh laziness. ^^
