not that zodiac dislikes cats, he just wanted a dog more but they couldn't get one til they moved out of the apartment that only allowed cats;
he's a bittt happier now than he expected to tho, evidently,

they initially went to the shelter """just to look""" and came back with a middle aged man with a limp and a missing eye, because he was too darn charming and had been there for too long than the little lad deserved :')
they were originally calling him "captain jack" and "long john silver" as a joke (due to the eye and little limp), but the name somehow stuck so now they just call him "the captain", like, "the captain needs his breakfast"

also yay first pic with zo's newest tat, and alsooo kind of a minor haircut cause I think I finally figured I prefer the sideshave looking like this haha
