"Happy birthday!" to one of my best friends:A fellow LOTR fan, deathnote fan, sherlock holmes fan, -non twilight fan but likes vampires- ... "real" ones >w>.... anyway! XD fellow music fan, art fan, hats fan, and Jesus fan, you name it, certainly a buddy I'm lucky to have.
I hope you like it! (though you cant look right now.. >w>) Your original request was kinda beyond my ability at this point, so I hope this can suffice! "prepare for trouble.. and make it double." xD
anyways! I really like how this turned out! mainly the style of the characters, which is probably due to the fact that I had real facial features to base them off of.
And I'm happy with the colors as well.

I did wimp out a bit on the background construction, I forgot and drew the characters first, so I had a difficult time with a background,.. so i got an actual picture of our town to use as a template, rotating and morphing so it fit, but it looks nothing like the picture, i just used the lines for perspective from it really xD
either way! I really think ive made sort of a break through coloring wise.. and drawing-wise I think, So i hope yall like this as much as I do!

I think you did really well too :'D I immedietly saw the sideburns and the slight stubble on Griff and went Very nice detail
And indeed; you did well on the folds on the clothes too, especially on Griff.
The faces also look real good here and I can definetely see this guy is supposed to be Griff (sorry I mention Griff alot, but he steals the show here

I think the background stuff will just come with practice... cause I found myself at a loss of how to make it "flow" xD
