I know its nothing special guys, just a real quick afternoon doodle for me.I realized its been since FEBRUARY that Ive draw Nao,... and even that one was a quick doodle as well.
School and life has been so overwhelming that its become all about deadlines and projects, and it really suffocates my creativity and motivation.
I'm sorry that its been so quiet around here, believe me, I wish I could do more :/

Konaan maybe? thats the main male character I have from Nao's story, but I havent drawn him in ages! Ive been wanting to redesign him very soon!

I'd like to add an advice, as I've myself been flooded with deadlines and projects (many times projects where I myself will not see the beginning nor the end) and it really seems to such a lot out of you.
Don't carry tomorrows burdens on your shoulders today. And after each day, relax your mind. Many times you might not be able to rest and take it easy before going to bed in the evening... but if even just for a short while, find something that you can focus your thoughts on and let your mind just be.
I could go on forever about a lot of advices, but no-one would ever remember (let alone heed to) them. It is not enought to know an advice in my opinion. You need to understand it thoroughly. That way it becomes part of you, and not just some mantra you try to helplessly hold onto.

I am too. But lately I've gotten a new perspective on things after we had our son. I don't really know how to explain it... things have just been given a new... order in my head I guess. Mostly subconsciously too.
Then again I'm one of those pondering and slow burning thinking types. Perhaps that has something to do with it.
Don't worry. Change takes time, so don't expect miraculous results on the next day

Everything about this piece is absolutely stunning. The colour scheme is really well done and I love that you've chosen to paint Nao with lines but you've left the background lineless. Beautiful work.
