This is the fourth picture of a fanart series called "Heros".I'll draw the "heros" of GDW and GNG, in their last moments with a quote.

I hated it when i found out GB died, I can't read Japanese and have only read up to ch 60 (john's death chapter) online. GB was my favorite, he was the best in anime and manga, and sometimes better than Weed. Why did you have to kill him Yoshihiro!?

It's really shitty if you can't read Japanese, because you have no chance to read it if you can't speak Japanese Dx
At the beginning I didn't like him, but he became so cool and awesome ;A;

I like him because he wasn't that brave or strong, it was a refresher from all the dogs who were willing to fight and die at the drop of a hat, it seemed kind of reckless to me at certain points. and i know, i can only speak a few pharses in Japanese and can't read none of it but i want too.

It was kinda annoying that there were only brave and strong characters and not even a few which don't want to fight...
but at least there was GB...

You should read Shin Gaiden, its a bunch of side stories that Yoshimoto, I forgot his name wrote. One of them id called Lonely Ron, it's about this Great Dane who runs away from home to find some adventure. I like it because he's a scaredy-cat like GB both he learns to be brave later on.

I've read Mel's Trip, Hurricane Shion, Lassie, Hanako and the one with Gamu and the Ganin dogs (forgot the name) I like them all. Especially the one with Gamu and the Ganin.

Really what i liked was the concept behind and how the whole pin being inserted in the dog's skulls to give them their powers makes a whole lot of sense than in the Ginga series the dogs just have the special powers with no explantion.

I totally agree with this. I always wondered in Ginga why for example only one breed can do the Zetsu Tenrou Battouga o.o
It's a pitty, that there is no Gamu anime ;A;

Yeah, athough it would probably be short. at least it got to feature a breed whose main character wasn't a akita. ( not that's it's a problem)I wish i could have saw more of lonely Ron though, that one i liked. Ron reminded me of GB. Sorry for the late reply.
