This is the right side of two 7ft tall Jesters that were installed in a comedy club in texas a while ago. Sub-contracted by CMN Enterprises (Now called Chiodo Entertainment)
Sculpted in water based clay.

It was a fun project. The owner of the club was in love with them. I have always had a fascination for Yester year art from that bygone era-I could go on and on about how i feel modern art lacks the same moving qualities that it once had. I gave them more of a turn of the century-ish costumes. Kinda has that 1930's sort of feel, while at the same time maintaining a realistic classical quality. It was a time of clashing ideals; the war, the rise of modern jazz, zoot suiters, the fight for equality, communism, capitalism, socialism, the world as we knew it was changing...

maybe i get lost in my own little world too easily...

but it makes for a great sculpture.
