It's a modern mythology. Main character is woman who returns to the world of the living, after having been brutally wronged in her death, to exact her vengeance on those who killed her, only to learn that her actions have horrible ramifications on those she loves. Story tries to deal with the question: "What is the price of revenge and hatred?" That's about all I can say now.
