Description
Have you seen Marvel and Netflix´s Jessica Jones? Well i didn´t yet (no spoilers please) but i just read the "Alias" comicbook storyline when her origin is revealed as her short superheroine carrer as "Jewel" and her conection with the Purple man.So this idea came to my mind, trying to merge the present Jessica with her past as Jewel with 2 different styles.

I love this. In the comics, Jewel was the superhero Jessica used to be; in the series, Jewel was the superhero Jessica could have been.

No spoilers, but Jessica in the comics was Jewel for about 3 years if I remember correctly. In the show, she only rescued two people on-screen before her career came to a startling halt.

This is beautiful...and it makes me hope that we might actually get to see flashbacks of Jewel in Season 2. I mean, so many references in the promo material to the "tragic end to her superero career?" WHAT career? There must be more than what we saw if they're saying that...or the people that wrote the material just read the COMICS and not the actual SCRIPTS for the show

Jessica was never Jewel in the Netflix series. Trish came up with the name and the costume, but Jess refused to go along with it. It was pretty clear that we saw pretty much the extent of her "superhero" career.
