This may be more of an elf than a dryad, but the tree nymphs of Greek mythology was a huge inspiration. Dryads are spirits of the forest who live among trees, or rather in a bond with a specific tree.The piece is about remembering your past and by revisiting old memories can have your home close to you.
This is part of a series of three drawings I made. The other two are Carrying the skies and Art and stillness .
