Nick: :3 *points out at the line of snow you were trying to scoop out with the shovel, and sends out a line of heatwave through the snow to melt it relatively quickly*

Nick: Very welcome deary. ^^ Now, didn't you say you had a friend stuck in the snow?

Now that you mention it, one of my ideas for this was for Marionette to get frustrated, cut to a little explosion in the background, and then show her giggling in the middle of an area with no snow and scorch marks. However after those pictures I did for the secret Delibird event the idea of making a comic was not very appealing to me, so I went with this. > w>
It would be just fine really if I knew how to do snow better, but whatever. It's nice enough I suppose. |3
Such a shame really. Marionette would have looked so cute in that crater. >w<

Are you serious? o.o I thought your Secret Delibird pics were awesome and apparently a lot of other people did too.
Snow is pretty simple. I just use a fade effect with a white brush and maybe add some texture in another layer. Although for Crossing, I like to use my Animal Crossing snow pattern for the effect.
I have an idea what I might want to do with mine, but getting it done before due date will be my issue. ^-^;

No, no, no, that's not what I meant! I loved how my comics came out and how everyone liked them too! It's just, Gods, they took a lot out of me. Most of that had to do with the more than extra effort I put into them and the deadline I gave for each one I imagine (I wanted one comic to be submitted to the group everyday before the Delibird picture ), but that experience kinda left a bad mark on me. Dx
Don't get me wrong, I learned a lot from doing it, but the memory of how soul-suckingly draining it was is stifling. I can't even get myself to work on a little comic series that tells of how Marionette moved to Pokette.
But, meh, I'll get to work on kicking feeling today. I still haven't done that thing with the TV yet. > w>
Now that is one way of doing it, however I am not sure Paint SAI has a fade effect.
I'll look up some tutorials on it for ideas at some point. |3
