Name: Syoraan Starfall
Age: 2.6 x 10^-50 UTC ~ approx. 26 Earth years (UTC= Universal Time Constant)
Gender: Male
Height: 2.16m
Weight: 64.39 gc (gc= gravitational constant, which is a unit of measurement calculated using the average measured gravity on the surfaces of the six magnetars within the Interstellar Planetary Council's(IPC) Domain.)
Occupation: Cosmic Corsair

Background:
Sy comes from the Starfall Family Clan of cosmic corsairs. His family operates in the outer regions of the Interstellar Planetary Council's (IPC) Domain of space. His family prides themselves in their fruitful adventures into the lesser explored regions of space, from far away nebulae to distant stars. The Starfall Family is infamous for their dabbling in the arts of space time fabric manipulation(STFM). STFM allowed them to manipulate time in various ways, such as speeding it up or slowing it down. This could be applied to the STFM user or other people. Although STFM was a ground breaking discovery that many took interest in when it was discovered, the IPC soon banned the use of STFM after deeming the risks too great to the stability of the universe. After the ban, the Starfall Family, having a knack for the use of STFM, continued to try to use it to gain an advantage in their exploits across space. This drew the full ire of the IPC and other governing bodies and corsair clans within the region. This caused the Starfall Family alot of trouble. This led them to push further to the edges of the IPC's Domain.

Sy grew up in those outer regions, but now, while living up to his family's legacy to the fullest, he ventures far and wide, from the inner Domain to the far reaches and beyond, in search of treasures, artifacts, and knowledge. Sy spends alot of his time mining the asteroids of the Kooshlall Asteroid Belt for treasures. He also visits the Hoplnath Corridor to mine the passing comets for artifacts. He intermittently ventures to the planets within the IPC's Domain as well as those beyond, to trade and sell some of his treasures. The booty that he wants to keep is usually stored within one of the farther comets in the Hoplnath Corridor that has a long orbital period.

One particularly big and popular asteroid, affectionately called the "Second Sun" by the scores of cosmic corsairs that frequent it, is located in the Kooshlall Asteroid Belt. It is known to many corsairs that great treasures can be found here. It is rumored that an artifact that could enhance control of STFM is located somewhere on the asteroid. Sy ventures to the Second Sun often, and although it's usually a fruitful visit, he has yet to find this rumored artifact. Now, to the dismay of all cosmic corsairs in the region, it has been discovered that the Second Sun is being pulled into the grasp of a nearby black hole. It is well on its way to the center of the black hole and is picking up speed. It's very dangerous and most cosmic corsairs have stopped attempting to visit the asteroid.

However, Sy is not giving up that easily! Sy vows to find this artifact before the Second Sun is consumed by the black hole. If he can find it, he may be able to become the best STFM user in the whole IPC Domain! Sy is not above using STFM in order to achieve this. He could then bring his family's name back from infamy once and for all... and possibly re-brand them as rulers of the universe in the process.

Family Crest: This is the crescent design on the side of Sy's right eye. It is a tattoo using ink containing stardust. Based on the properties of the stardust in the tattoo ink, the tattoo glows. The crest is located around the eye to symbolize how the Starfall Family's pirate clan always has its gaze set towards the stars and beyond in search of treasure and adventure. It also references the family's mastery of space time fabric manipulation(STFM). The dots of the tattoo represent stars while the swirled design represents time.

Lucky Hat: Sy has a tricorn hat that has a cowl that comes down from the the inside of the hat. The hat and cowl are radiation shields(along with his cape and suit) and help protect Sy's head and neck from harmful rays out among the stars. Sy also keeps protective goggles slung on top of his hat.

Trusty Weapon: At his waist, Sy carries several small canisters called Pulsors. When activated, a Pulsor results in a quick, contained blast that releases gamma rays during the explosion. A Pulsor has an adjustable detonation time from activation. Sy keeps several of these and uses them in battles against enemy corsairs. This is a risky weapon to use because it has the potential to affect Sy as well if he is in range. However, Sy uses space time fabric manipulation(STFM) when using this weapon. Therefore, he is able to manipulate time to safely get out of the blast radius. Sy also uses this weapon, just as one would use dynamite, to remove material while mining asteroids and comets for treasures.
