Description Inspired both by old wounds and the musical The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown. I wrote lyrics on the page in my sketch book, but it scanned in poorly, so I used a bit of photoshop to try and make it look better. In case you can't read the lyrics, they are as follows:

Jamie is over and Jamie is gone
Jamie's decided it's time to move on
Jamie has new dreams he's building upon
And I'm still hurting

Jamie arrived at the end of the line
Jamie's convinced that the problems are mine
Jamie is probably feeling just fine
And I'm still hurting

What about lies, Jamie?
What about things
That you swore to be true
What about you, Jamie
What about you

Jamie is sure something wonderful died
Jamie decides it's his right to decide
Jamie's got secrets he doesn't confide
And I'm still hurting

Go and hide and run away
Run away, run and find something better
Go and ride the sun away
Run away like it's simple
Like it's right...

Give me a day, Jamie
Bring back the lies
Hang them back on the wall
Maybe I'd see
How you could be
So certain that we
Had no chance at all

Jamie is over and where can I turn?
Covered with scars I did nothing to earn
Maybe there's somewhere a lesson to learn
But that wouldn't change the fact
That wouldn't speed the time
Once the foundation's cracked
And I'm
Still Hurting

At first glance I though that she was hiding in the crevice of a giang book, not a corner (probably the words written on the wall).

At second glance, I thought that my first glance wasn't really confused, that it was a very easy mistake to make. Depending on how you look at it, the walls could be straight, like walls are wont to be, or curved, like pages of a book -- even a giant one -- are wont to be.

At third glance I started making up BS like, "maybe she *is* in a book, like the book of their relationship that's she's still stuck inside that's about to close on her," and decided that not only had I better make a post to share this with everyone, but that I also had stayed up far too late, had far too much coffee, and was way too bored.

Such is life. Well, my life, anyway.
