It's sad the Jeneviv gets slaughtered right at the beginning. But I gotta wonder since reading the preludes and vol 1 and 2, will Kalie make an appearance at all in the future volumes?

I love how her markings mooooove with her eyes, and how Jen glows in this comic. The glowing probibly has somthing to do with the power of the somining circle. When I told my mom you were posting volume 1 on DA, she was like this:

I still don't know if I can ever forgive you for what you did to Jeneviv *right at the start!* Not cool, man. She and Kalei are some of my favorites.
All that aside, as someone who's already purchased both current volumes, this is a great work. Gotta love it.

I KNOW, we didn't really know Jeneviv that well when we first wrote Volume 1... And now that we've started developing her and Kalei in Prelude, I feel BAAAADDDDDDD.

We're planning on publishing some print editions in the future - but at present, it's only on our website: [link] I actually feel worse and worse about this scene as time progresses, just because we're actually getting to know Jeneviv more as we write her into Prelude... AUGH it's sadmaking. She's listed at the bottom of the cast page I linked you to, with her sister, Kalei...

I suppose it would be sad-making if I had read the prelude, I do hope it's included with your first publishing of Volume #1.
Otherwise... it's mildly depressing to see someone ripped in half, but with no context it's just kind of there.

Dreemkeepers always has such nice artwork. It took me a while to figure out who this was though, at least until I browsed the free comic.
