Description This is still unfinished. I was reading about the Cynocephalus which is a fancy way of saying werewolf though they were never men. In mythology there is  island outside of india? Where there is a tribe/pack?? of this race of dog headed men, believed to be pure evil and hated Christians, yet sometimes in murals and stuff Saint Christopher with a dog head. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm I probably have some incorrect info but heres a wiki about these creatures  en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cynoceph…

Lycanthrope is more of the fancy way of saying Werewolf. Cynocephalus is usually described as a humanoid with the head of a dog (typically a domestic dog). They were also often described as bipedal, capable of speech, and retaining human intelligence. These traits are not commonly found in Werewolves of the time. That being said, the modern idea of a Werewolf probably does take a lot of inspiration from the Cynocephalus. Most descriptions of Werewolves between the Middle Ages and Early Modern Period (500-1800 AD) describe them as humans that have transformed into full on wolves, looking almost no different from normal wolves, with the exception of size and behavior patterns.

Though there were exceptions to the norm, such as the drawings of Lucas Cranach during the 15th and 16th centuries, the anthropomorphic depiction we tend to envision became popular in more recent years.

Anyway... Nicely done on this drawing! I wonder what happened to his/her abdomen. That is sure to leave a mark.
