As I recall, I did this piece as part of a barter for something for a friend (maybe a nice meal out? A bet? I can't recall the details), but he and I had watched Avatar: The Last Airbender together and he was particularly fond of the badgermoles.

Thought they don't have a very large screen presence in the show, I thought it would be fun to depict one looking particularly menacing.

He's a bit of a badass, I suspect.

While this is the only ATLA fan art I've technically done, I absolutely adore the show and it's continuing mythology and even subscribe to the iTunes download of The Legend of Korra every week.
