interesting, though in proportion, those eggs are way to big, and eggs don't grow when they come out, and the front paws are too skinny, making it look like they could break, the moment the dragon uses them..

apart from that, good detail of pencil and an overall good piece

Thanks for the crit! The egg thing is definitely tru (although I knew that in advance and decided it looked better with larger eggs, as smaller ones didn't work well into the composition). My justification was: "well, who says they are HER eggs?"

As for the hands, that's actually a matter of personal taste (as most of my dragons have bigger back feet and smaller arms) because They walk on their back feet, mainly, more along the lines of upright dinosaurs like a Velociraptor, and use their huge, oversize (and by no means "punny") wings to move about the land, but for critters that use all 4 legs to move and support their weight: that's definitely a good point.

Oh, wow! The detail in this - the muscle definition, the scales, the light/ dark contrast - is really amazing, and really draws me into the picture...

Aye. Used only a mechanical pencil, and just the Sliiiiightest amount of white pencil to get the egg and face to "pop," but the grey tone of the cardstock really helped. Another week and I can get back to some art (first, I have to survive Finals!)
