So far nothing else is released other than this (though I could be mistaken at this point.) But nevertheless I'm still stoked about a new DLC. With everyone we already know, plus new characters to unlock.

Hahaha, and no sooner do you post up the link I found something curious in the game:
You can actually fish out the debris out in the water, and you will find some odd things. One was a sextant, an old boot, a toy boat, and a few other things that I wasn't able to find but others did.
I looked at the parrot, and I noticed that the cards that he had in his beak changed, with different pictures. So I tried to type in the names of the things that I found, but it's not working for me.

Yeah, I also noticed that the card in the parrot's beak changes, and I also tried to type the name of the objects in (that parrot was very rude sometimes

Do you know if it's going to be a Steam only thing like Don't Starve together, or will it be a stand alone version as well?
I don't have steam, so I was highly disappointed when I learned that I couldn't get Don't Starve together. :C

For far what I know, it's meant to be a DLC of the original as single player. Whether or not they decide to make it standalone is up in the air. But I'm pretty sure it will be a steam/ linux, BUT so far DS has been introduced for the Playstation Vita, and Wii, and soon to come your Tablet, so who knows.
