*rises from the dead* This is a redraw from a drawing that dates back to 2014 (and which I will not upload save in a "draw it again meme" form). That was only a few months after Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rebellion was revealed, and back then there barely were any references of Homumu's Devil form. I was still on facebook too, and I remember the fandom going crazy and divided between the haters and those who loved the movie. I was part of the latter, obviously, the "Homura did nothing wrong and let's worship our new Goddess" team x) Ai yo!

Sorry for nostalgia kicking back in (I had the unfortunate idea of listening to the ED of the movie a few days ago, hence this decision to redraw Homumu), the point is that lots of things have changed since then. The first being that I switched from the charcoal of the original drawing (why on Earth did I draw it with charcoal back then >.<) to ink pens (and I still have no idea how to use them but it doesn't look too bad from afar... still better than digital linearting, sadly x) ), the second that I allowed myself to truly go "mixed media:" I did a lot of editing to enhance the colours and to add the sort of cloud around her (a few months ago I would simply have scanned and posted, with dull colours). I also hope the progress is noticeable (I don't mean since 2014 because that's a given, but comparatively to my previous upload. Granted, the colorisation did not help my poor elf >.<).

I was pretty happy with the traditional media version, so I felt like posting it here. Enjoy yourselves! (or not )
