Admittedly, I'm not as happy with the final look of the Lantern as I am with my other Grimm.

Lanterns are physically weak Grimm that pose little threat when solitary. Their most defining feature is their heads, these most resemble that of a faceless mannequin with a single massive eye similar to the body of a Seer. This eye can emit light, from a soothing yellow glow to a harsh, blinding spotlight.

The Lantern's only offensive capacity comes from kicks and scratches with its legs, and a very fragile extendable proboscis below its chin. Due to its fragility, the proboscis is rarely used in combat, rather being levied on prey that has already been subdued. It is believed that this proboscis actually drains aura, which is then used to power the Grimm's light, but the veracity of these claims has never been proven.

Though weak, Lanterns are insidious. They hide in caves and burrows during the day, only emerging at night, to use their lights to lure travelers to their lairs. As Lanterns operate in colonies of between 15 and 200 in number, even a large group or trained combatant can then find themselves overwhelmed.
