I love the colors and shapes XD The thin outline also helps emphasize their shapes. But I think a background will definitely make things better

I thought making a background would've been better too, for this particular picture. The problem is I'm just terrible at background @_@. Thank you for your insight and lovely comments !

Well, work with blurry clouds Just clouds will look great. Just add different shades of blue on the background, gaussian blur everything by about 50 pixels or more. Then add clouds, smudge them all over and blur if you want. That's typically how I do my simple clouds
