Rei's father, a demon, was the one who killed Rei's mother and 2nd brother. Rei has lived with Cryo his whole life and is like a brother to him. Rei's demon genes slowly change him each year slowly getting worse to a point where he needs blood about every few hours or else he could die. Its almost like an infection.
