It was very hard to get a decent shot of her as she was one of the more popular "attractions" at the fair. Tons of people around that you can see in the reflection.Related content

Yes she was in a huge tank of water. This was at a Renaissance Festival and they were yelling about "Come see the only mermaid in captivity." She did a great job too. She would stay underwater for long periods of time and if anyone approached the tank with a dollar out she would pop out clicking and singing. Then she would take the dollar and give the person a "mermaid stone".
