Thanks A.T.!Β  The face paint is composed of three layers, each lighterΒ than the next, - I scribbled over it with the Eraser tool to get that crinkly look.Β

I'm too retarded to use any high-tech tools. %95 percent of all my pictures are created with just the brush and airbrush tools (and polygonal lasso).Β 
Β Ocassionaly I use Gaussian Blur, Gradients, and the Artistic-Sponge filter.

Man, the shading around her face alone is just gorgeous. Such shape and an adorable little hint of smile too... She's got a nice, slightly more mature look, and that outfit in the full version?? Very fun. The metal looks gorgeous and wonderfully different against her skin.

Thanks dude!Β  The girl in the photo-reference had an even cuter curl to the edges of her mouth, but I toned it down, as the TVShow version has lips that come to a point at the sides. I tweaked the reference a lot to get her looking like Ahsoka. I enlarged her eyes and mouth, lowered the nose, squared off the chin..Β Β  I tried to make her shoulders and knees a bit pointy to resemble the more angular shape of the character on the show.
Β I could've squashed her jaw and blew up her forehead to make her more like the show, but I think she would start to look pretty deformed if I went that far.

I'd say your inspiration is well-chosen here, you definitely captured a look that feels like Ahsoka, nothing looking too out of place, things flowing gorgeously all over...

The funny thing is that her NAME kinda startles me every time because in Japanese it literally means "Is that so?", or something like "Really?", and it's even pronounced the same! LOL
