Obviously, the spike-heeled thighboots give an increased height advantage, granting her a greater sightline to spot predators and enemies at a distance, as well as protecting her legs and knees from thorns, rocks and blows.Β Also, the heel gives the leg a larger moment-arm for increased leverage, strength and speed.

Meow...Rogue never looked hotter (even when Marc Silvestri was drawing her). Rogue in the "Savage Land"...didn't she loose her powers in that issue?

I think so, but I'm no expert.
Silvestri is probably my favourite artist to work on marvel.. for one thing, his babes were super-hot, but everything else about his stuff was awesome too.. nobody draws Rogue, Storm, or Wolverine quite like him!
- do you know if he's still pencilling comics? I haven't seen his stuff around recently..

I dunno Joe Madureira, did a pretty good job himself. Though Marc did do Rogue justice, however Voodoo was his best work art.

I guess that's why I'm so fond of Silvestri's work, it has none of that Neo-Manga influence that is so prevalent these days..
