Update: First of all, thanks for the DD! This is my sixth one and it's always a pleasure. Mostly, I just want people to know that for now, I am not working on "The Quest for Love with Yoki Safari" and that it has been shelved until further notice. It is a project that is very near and dear to my heart and I will start serious work on it when I feel the time is right. In the meantime, I'd love for you to check out my more recent artwork and learn more about my current projects. Thanks so much!

Rejoice! The time has finally come for me to reveal the newest addition to my menagerie of tales, "The Quest for Love with Yoki Safari."

The plan: An issue-based webcomic (as opposed to strip-based), it tells the story of warrior princess Yoki Safari in her struggle to find a suitable man to join her as the ruler of the tiny kingdom of Turnover before her father, King Durango Safari, completely loses his sanity to a curse that is slowly leeching it away. This task is made difficult by Carmine Carlisle, a mischievous succubus hired by a mysterious entity to ensure that Yoki never falls in love for too long. She has help, of course, in the form of her best friend and newly-appointed "relationship manager," Jules.

Each issue focuses around a different "date" for Yoki, though most of them are unorthodox. Some of them are human, some of them are aliens, some unicorn trainers, some overlords from outer space, and one is even just a computer screen.

"The Quest for Love with Yoki Safari" is largely a comedy, but manages to be a fantasy/sci-fi/romance/action-adventure all at the same time. In the world of Turnover, anything can and will happen.

The whole idea is in the early stages. I'm just now getting to writing the first issue and I'm still doing a lot of concept art, particularly for the little kingdom of Turnover. This image was made solely for the purpose of getting the DeviantART public's attention about this new idea, and while I understand it's definitely an unusual idea and it's a little hard to grasp, I'd really love to hear your thoughts about it!
