Warning! Apollo Justice Case 4 spoilers later in this description!

Gee, I haven't done some OC art in a while... I think. o.O Or at least, something worth critiquing. I should put some time into something this week, I think. Maybe once Phantom Destiny is done.

Anyway, last night I read a very uplifting fan-fic on Fan-Fiction.net about what happens after Case 4 in Apollo Justice. Phoenix, Trucy, and Apollo all get together to help Vera get rid of her agoraphobia (the fear of crowds and the outside in general) so that she can live a normal life. And today I completed Case 4 again, which has to be one of the more epic cases in the Ace Attorney games (though it certainly ends a bit...lacking), and which features the Mishams, so... I just wanted to draw them.

You know, during the entire game, Drew Misham never smiles once. I always thought it really sad. And he was killed by the poisoned stamp he attached to a letter begging Kristoph to remove the "curse" on his daughter so they can be happy again. His wife left him when Vera was really young... He made so little money with his paintings that he was forced to have Vera forge paintings... And there's one small photograph on Vera's desk, so small that you can't see it in detail, that both Apollo and Phoenix note as depicting the two Mishams being really happy. I wish the game would have let us see that close up. Because there isn't a single moment in the game where Drew Misham even seems a little happy. He's always sad or worried. And unknowingly making Phoenix lose his badge didn't help the situation.

So I thought I'd draw a picture of his ghost being happy that Vera's cured of her agoraphobia and having a good time. He always cared so much about his daughter.

So there's Vera, painting (outside!) while the ghost of her father looks on happily. There's Trucy, Apollo and...surprise, Brushel (ho ho ho, so that's how he gets his scoop) in the background on the right, and the Sunshine Colosseum on the left. It was originally just white background, but I thought I could spruce things up a little with a lavender background and white highlights.

Maybe if enough people like it I'll complete it.
