awkwardjack inspired me to start drawing this guy again, I've actually had some pretty cool ideas of what to do with this guy now so thank you!

If you watched me long enough you'll remember that this guy was a zombie slayer and a couple of friends and I were going to do a graphic novel set around this. Because none of us could find the time to work on it, the graphic novel was put on hold, I don't know if we'll ever work on it again, but for now I'm just going to work on this character and the world/setting he lives in for a bit of fun.

Hal comes from a place not too dissimilar in appearance to Victorian England only with slightly more futuristic technology (think steampunk just not as extreme. Less coggs). There's a huge class divide, large amounts of poverty contrasted with the small group of incredibly wealthy businessmen, lords, royalty etc. (again think of something like a Dickens novel). The country is basically a shithole apart from the few wealthy areas. In the poverty stricken areas diseases run wild, factories dump toxic waste on the land and this leads to a mutant pandemic, basically the zombie apocalypse. The richer areas hold out for a while being able to build barricades and having access to advanced weaponry, however eventually the entire planet is taken over by the disease. Apart from a few survivors.
Hal was one of the wealthier people, the son of a Lord to be precise. He lived in the capital city when the virus broke out, managed to survive by being helped by more able fighters (I'll work out these characters in the future. Possibly a military person?). He was pretty useless to start out with, but in time became far better at surviving.
