STRANGE TALES #89 cover recreation--1st FIN FANG FOOM!!!
Took quite a while cleaning up color images/cover scans to finally get what I could work over as a blueline. No great B&W image online. Had always wanted to take a crack at it. Rendered/inked by hand over printed 'bluelines.'
NOT A PRINT!
Original art was by JACK KIRBY and DICK AYERS. Tried to be pretty faithful. Added texture to the house. Only the small letters were 'held'/printed in black (and then touched up).
11 x 17 on Bristol board. Signed.
