What if pearls and other gems weren't actually suposed to be ABLE to summon a weapon?
Peridot said that pearls were just servants, and Steven said that Pearl trained herself to fight, so if pearls are just servants and NOT meant to fight,
why should they be able to summon a weapon?
When the Gems were helping Steven to summon his weapon,she relied on hard work and dedication to master the physical properties of her gem and "perform her own dance". So what if Pearl trained herself to be able to summon her spear?
No wonder Garnet used to think she was terrifying; this gem's tough! Β

I support this theory, I also think that's why peridot is having a hard time summoning a weapon of her own, because she wasn't made for fighting, and that's why, for Amethyst, it's natural. Garnet has this mixed feeling because Ruby is a warrior gem but Sapphire an aristocrat gem, who isn't supposed to fight.
But please don't annoy people!

I tried cutting the pannels and uploading them indivudually before but that stopped working too... so, I'm sorry, if I find out how to upload right, I'll let you know.
