This is my entry into a contest.

So, long ago, in a time when I was a mere teenager, which wasn't that long ago!, I made an OC for Beyblade.
You remember that show right? Little kids playing with spinning tops that had razor sharp spikes attached to the side?

Her name... was Iaki Hiwatari.

Yeah, I know, another sister to Kai, who would fall in love with one of the Blade Breakers. No, no this is not her destiny.

How she came to be is complicated, she shares the same Father as Kai, but her mother left her as soon as she was born to escape Voltare, she is one year younger than Kai.

Iaki, which is the backwards spelling of Kai with an I at the end, is Kai's half sister, and she doesn't appear in the first season until they reach Russia.

Kai was aware he had a sibling, but then finds out that she is under his evil grand fathers control, which he falls under originally in the series.

Once he frees himself, he tries to make her join him. Although there is some doubt placed in her mind against Voltare, she refuses.

It is only when Kai loses in the first round of the BBA finals does she free herself from her grandfathers grasp and stands by her brothers side.

Touching isn't it?

Iaki helps Ray/Rei Kon when he is facing Brian, giving him pointers after training with the Blitzberg boys for so long.
She also helps Tyson when he is facing Tala.
Then as the series ends, I make her disappear. Iaki goes off to learn how to be on her own, and be herself, without her evil Grandfather watching over her.

She reappears in the third and final season, first on Tala and Kai's team in the finals, then to help the team against Boris and his evil plans.

Anyways, that's her story, now for a description.

Name: Iaki Hiwatari
Age: 15 - 18 (season one - season three)
Hair color: Bicolor (blue in the front and slate at the back like her brothers)
Eyes: Burgendy
Skin: Slightly tanned
Height: 5'6 - 5'8
Clothing: (In this picture I have her in her final season clothes, in the first season simply add a black short sleeved sweater on top of her tank top) Red Tank top, blue shirt, red boots, black fishnet socks, red forearm gloves with spike)

Bit Beast: A bit beast is the spirit of some ancient being that is help within the bit of a beyblade. Hers is black in the picture. I don't have a microscopic pencil to draw him in there. His name is Wrath and he is a wolf. His colors are Gold and Black, in the first season. His fur is black with golden spots.

Better Half: There is a better half for her. Originally I did have her with Ray (I CANNOT HELP HOW I WAS IN THE BEGINNING) however I have introduced my own character to go with her, but he doesn't appear very much. His name is Haden.

Personality: Typically a character in her position would mimic Kai, and she does, but to a greater degree. Any good natured emotions is hidden and forced down from years of living with Voltare. She only shares a smile when she is beyblading, and no longer hidden under the grandfathers thumb.
Cold nature aside, she is well mannered and polite. She will help you without a second thought, but quickly and efficiently, and maybe not in a way that you find as helpful as it really turns out to be. She knows what is right and what is wrong, which is something she shares with Kai. And Iaki is not afraid to tell you that straight up.
In the third season, you see her more thawed and calm in a gentler way. Her better half, Haden, helps with this. She met him somewhere between the first and last seasons.

Well that's about as descriptive as I can get. It has been a while since I wrote about her. I guess I should start up again.
