I mentioned it before, but it reminds me of the main character from the "Dog Style" one-shot manga. I am totally into yaoi though. I have yet to find any kind of yuri that gets the kind of romance you get in yaoi. It's always ALWAYS really tender and loving.

I think part of the reason for that is that most yaoi is written by women and most yuri is written my men.
There are exceptions, of course. I've seen plenty of sappy romance written by men, as well as bad romance written by women. Gentle Yet Firm is a guy who rights very romantic erotica on Asstr, and the worst romance of all time (Twilight) was written by a woman. "Two Kinds" is so sappy romantic, tender, and sweet that people have accused the (male) author of being female, a fact he's formally addressed and mocked in omake segments of his comic. XD
Though, honestly? I've talked to the guy one-on-one. He... doesn't have the best personality. Though it's possible I may have caught him on a bad day...
More on the subject of romantic yaoi and yuri, there's Girly. It's about a lesbian romance, and it's so true to its title that most people forget the author is a guy. It formally concluded and the author has a new comic, "You Suck." It's about an exhibitionist girl who meets a succubus. Doesn't seem to be yuri yet, but considering Josh L's MO, it likely will be. He's also working on a yuri video game with a few other yuri-loving men called "Princess Panic."
"Pawn" is another yuri comic set in the medieval times, about a female scholar who goes commando out to free a nude female fire demon from the dungeon she's sealed in. Not quite as sweet and romantic as other stories I've read, but written by a man who lives in Europe.
Then there's "Go Get a Roomie." Again, it's about a lesbian romance. But it occurs so naturally is is so sweet that I can honestly say it's better than some yaoi and straight romances I've read, though this one actually WAS written by a woman. XD
