"La Gigante" ( Roughly translates to "The Giant") is an 800 foot tall insectoid that has a giraffe-weevil-like appearance. The creature first appeared towering over Madrid, Spain in 1984. With a toddering gate and deathly black color, it then shrieked with anger that it was found and flew away, vaporizing everyone in it's path. It came back in 2006 in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. to destroy again
