Description The young firelord.
This began as a sketch of Zuko from Diverging Paths.
But I started playing with a more painterly style.
As always I learned some new tricks along the way.

I wanted him to have whispers of Ozai in his appearance but also some softness. Zuko is a very different firelord than his father. I'll try to convey that in my fan comic.


Anyway, enjoy the fanservice fangirls (and boys)!!!

I can tell. Hey, at least he's not running the US. In the Fire Nation, the people respect their leaders, even if some didn't deserve it. In the US, no matter what the President does, it's never good enough. Look at Obama, for example. He hasn't even been in office for three months and his hair is already graying at a very fast rate.

Well, this Zuko is from my comic ... so there's still hope for Katara.
I'm actually drawing a Katara portrait too.

He does have Ozai's bone structure, but the eyes are all ZUKO.
