It totally reminds me of the Fiona Apple song Sullen Girl: "But he washed me ashore and he took my pearl and left an empty shell of me. But it's calm under the waves in the blue of my oblivion." Perfect!

(look who's really behind in messages over here. Whew!) Any road, this is really...dare I say it...cute. No really! It is cute! I like the way her hair is blowing too, because being that close to a waterfall isn't the most 'windless' of regions. And I love the little star she's clinging too, also. You really don't see many deviations like this--it's usually a girl trapped in a trunk unless I've missed my guess. Good job!

What a dreamy image! It's amazing how art speaks in a way that words cannot. The piece is so intimately there, I feel like I'm remembering something that I've never seen before.

sooooooo pretty!!!! This is such a unique an awesome concept for one..... I really love the use of that pose in this dev. This reminds me of thumbelina, ZOMG!!! hahah anyway..... all the details are great, from the sparkles to the little dew drops on the clams lip. I could totally pass as a pearl w/ my white ass skin and when I'm all rolled up into a ball like that.

This is very pretty. I like how soft it all looks. Though the pearl off to the left of the shell kinda makes it look like the girl crawled in and threw the pearl out. That might be me looking for humor though. Plus I just woke up. ;3
