I've seen this beast a few times at the Orange County fair grounds (OCCA labor Day Cruise) We used to call him the "Lawn Mower".
We could always hear him coming before we'd see him. That thing has a wicked lope to it.

It's possible there are a couple of Wild Things around; I saw a Wild Thing up here in Minnesota several years ago at our big annual 64-and-earlier show. The one I saw had blue flames, and two superchargers on a Big Block Chevy rather than a Hemi. I digress though...this is a great shot of this "Thing" in action!

heeeeey using the same tires I am gonna use on my camaro and the flame looked like it was licking the windshield at first but now I see it from the exhaust.
