I'm using windows 8 right now haha so no, windows 8 should be fine.

As for why it's not working I'm not sure where to start..

Is Rainmeter running? Are the skins active? Try deleting the files and re installing the skin suite? Have you edited the code at all?

Is there anything else you can tell me other than "It doesn't work?"

Loving it. but how do I change the programs from the "Items" list? I've been able to do it with other skins but this one's programs.ini confuses me. D:

Ok, um I think I included a template at the bottom but anyway here's what you need to do:

Under [Variables] you need to add a variable that will act as your file path. Here's a template:

[Variables]
=""

And here's an example with notepad:

[Variables]
Notepad="C:\Users\Derek\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\notepad.exe"

of course it may be different for your computer depending where your files are located.

Next you need to add a meter, this is what will make it show up in your list and the template for that looks like this:

[Meter]
Meter=String
Text=
MeterStyle=TextStyle
X=0r
Y=#MenuSpace#
LeftMouseUpAction=["##"]
MouseOverAction=[!SetOption Meter FontColor #HoverColor#]
MouseLeaveAction=[!SetOption Meter FontColor #TextColor#]

and here's what it looks like with our notepad example

[MeterNotepad]
Meter=String
Text=Notepad
MeterStyle=TextStyle
X=0r
Y=#MenuSpace#
LeftMouseUpAction=["#Notepad#"]
MouseOverAction=[!SetOption MeterNotepad FontColor #HoverColor#]
MouseLeaveAction=[!SetOption MeterNotepad FontColor #TextColor#]

If all is done right it will show up. If you still have trouble just copy and paste the code here and I can fix it up for you

I don't see myself using this, since I'm happy with what I have... but I would have to say my hat is off to you for inventiveness.
