Exceptional work in this image. The contrast and tonal range is very effective -- near perfect. There is a degree of tension in the image -- the pose of the subject actually seems comfortable and relaxed, but the expression on her face is almost disdainful. This is a delightful image to be rendered in black and white.
Usually one uses softness to focus the attention of the viewer, but her expression is so compelling I do not think the use of soft focus is even necessary. Her eyes alone would draw you into their depths -- her concealed nudity is secondary. In fact, ever were her breasts fully exposed, it would not detract from the image, her expression is so enthralling.
This is one of those images that could be cropped in a number of effective ways -- as a headshot, a portrait, a bust.... Quite a remarkable image. Thank you!
