I disagree.
In the US, he talks like a meme-induced wacko, which I'm not a fan of. I personally think he sounds better saying some generic villain-esque lines like in the UK/AUS version. The UK/AUS (PAL) version also follows the Japanese dialogue more closely.

My opinion, m8.
I'm on the unpopular opinion side - Nintendo has been acknowledging so many memes lately that it's starting to annoy me. I get it, they can be like us and do memes. I might've been okay if the majority of dialogue in both versions of Splatoon were the same, even if it involves the constant usage of memes. We don't even get the Cockney Spyke.
