Wow! That's incredible! I've always struggling with background and scenery in general. I just have no creative ideas and it never meshes with the characters in the foreground. XD Whenever I try to imagine a nice landscape I only get the general concept in my head and suffer when it comes to drawing the actual details.

I have the same problems when it comes to sci-fi scenery (and also weapons and such). My comfort zone is totally naturalistic and architectural scenery, but that's because I made a lot of studies from real architectures and nature. So when it's time to imagine the structures it's all about recreating the things I've drawn, combining them if necessary. (and that's because I don't like sci-fi very much: starships and such don't exist -_- )

True, I suppose I should study some more scenery and focus on that for a while since I usually draw mostly people.
Haha yeah I'm not very good at drawing sci-fi stuff either, it's so technical so it's hard to capture it because when you're the artist drawing it you have to know all the details on the object.

That's so true. I love reading sci fi but if I had to make an entire comic I'd probably suffer ): And that's probably some kind of course.
Anyway, the general advise is to draw what already exists and resembles most the things you wanna create
