Thank you for showing people (mostly me,) that using solid black is ok. For some reason I have a fear of solid black, especially in character design, but in cases like this, it works out really well!

Solid blacks can be a little tricky, but they can absolutely work out beautifully. As with everything, it just takes observation and careful practice to figure out what works and what doesn't.
