Just something to eat some time while I wait for a commissioner to reply and this also served as sort of a warmup while I think of what to do for another commission.The idea to turn something like BeetleJuice into a cartoon is both strange and brilliant. And making Beetlejuice best friends with Lydia for some reason is also strange and brilliant. It's a cartoon I know I watched as a kid--at least a few episodes--but I don't really remember it. Just that it had awesome designs.
And I love the movie, so there you go. I remember reading somewhere that Lydia is 14-15, so she get's to be included here~ Also I thought I'd change things up with a purple-y theme for this one.Kiddie Folder --> [link]

lol making beetlejuice was timburtons way of making the cartoon more kid friendly XD. unlike the live action movie were normal little kids freak out at the sight of sand worms and and a adult content beetlejuice XD. i however wasn't a normal kid XDD

y'no, this is somewhat flattering to me. xDD 'cause when i was in school, my nickname was lydia 'cause i looked like her from the movie. i was in photography class, so i always carried an old, giant camera and i wore nothing but black clothing and had black hair. i also used to watch the tv series 'cause i basically wanted to be lydia.
to this day, winona ryder has been my idol. even still. she's so pretty and one of the very few female actresses that i adore and find to be simply amazing! i'm surprised winona hasn't been physically acting in any movies recently... the only one i can recall her being in is in Black Swan, which came out in 2010. other than that, it's just been voice acting here and there. she's still such a beautiful woman, even at the age of 41!
winona ryder, michelle pfeifer, mila kunis, and marisa tomei are my four favorite actresses of all time!

That movie was my childhood wrapped up in marshmallows and chocolate, but I've never seen the cartoon. Somehow the idea of Lydia and Beetlejuice being besties just fits. They're so perfect together, they probably get into all sorts of pranks and mischief.

From what I remember that was how it went. They were best friends and they got into a bunch of trouble and adventures (usually Beetlejuice's fault).

And how it began is thus, "You see, I met Lydia one year ago tomorrow, so she says it's *morphs into Lydia* our anniversary. *morphs back into himself* But I don't have any money. You know what I am kids, I'm flat broke. *morphs into a broken puzzle, then reshapes back into himself* The first episode for the 1989 cartoon is Critter Sisters [ [link] ].
