Description I have been experimenting with Apophysis in order to try creating nebulae for space art. This render, however intrigued me. The way it was shaped, with subtle symmetry and flow.

This is my first true fractal render.

Enjoy.

Oh how cool... It reminds me of the Shadows from the Babylon 5 TV series. Kinda crabby and ethereal and spacy... I love this design. Hooray for fractals!

I love fractals, and it seems you do too.

I'm hoping to do some more art, incorporating the fractals like you saw here with other things, such as nebulas in future space art.

I'm glad you liked it! It's amazing to see how many people interpret a fractal. It's like a cloud (as, clouds, in themselves, are really fractals), and one can recognize many things in it. Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it!

Awesome design! I've always liked fractals for some reason or another. This one though, reminds me of the sea at night with lashing waves.

i love the color!
looks great how its not centered and there are still whispy bits going off the edge, shows it doesnt "end" and doesnt have confinements.
its also very good in how the eye has to look at it, and then really look at it to see the image. the eye follows the curves and lines.....a very very natural flow to it, with no "dead ends" in the piece.

dont know if that makes sense to you.....

I love the way you can almost picture things in fractals. I like the bit on the bottom half in the middle where the lines sort of create a 'U' shape. Fascinating ....

and pretty

Let me say that I have never seen a piece of abstract art like this that I have not enjoyed. I see no imperfections in them - but then again, I suppose it is impossible to make them imperfect.

This will sound extremely odd, but, as soon as I saw this I was thinking "This would look fantastic painted behind a garden bath tub" You know - the really deep ones that you have to step down into? This would look great behind one - wow.
