Oh and btw, how much does it cost for you to make a figurine like this?

I don't think it costs anything. I think the designer gets paid a portion of the figures's sales.

It's made up; those are the rules for the fantasy world he inhabits. Real inugami myths are a little more voodoo or dark magic: one created an inugami by burying a dog up to its head and starving it with food just out of reach. The spirit of the dog would then become beholden to its creator because of the offerings, and you could sic it on people, make it guard places, or even get possessed by it.

To say the least. He's not the only character inspired by my Rotts, but he's the first to look like them more directly.

I just have a question's all. Wouldn't "inugami" mean like, "dog god"?
Also wow those are some pretty killer knuckles. Nice scrawny back legs, too! I hope he makes it.

Inugami are particularly associated with shikigami, which are gods of death. I figured for the sake of brevity; since they're all about protection and guardianship.

Sorry it took so long to post; I thought I'd posted him and it turns out I hadn't.

Well if PT doesn't go over well, we can take him directly to Gensen Figure instead of having PT do the mediator/money thing. The catch is you gotta provide the money and ship everything yourself like we do for the BBA figurines, but you get total control of the project.

I don't know if I'd go that route without it being part of a book promotion, and the story in question is a long way from getting published. It'd be nice to keep Gensen in mind for that, but in the meantime ... I do very hope that PT comes through.
