Description
Those, who don't knew..Dinosaur Planet was a game originally planned for the Nintendo 64 being developed by Rare. The game itself was cancelled and reworked into Star Fox Adventures.
Originally, the game had nothing to do with the Star Fox series and was intended to be a stand-alone title. According to an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto ( dude, who created StarFox. ), he had noticed the striking similarities between the game's characters and those of Star Fox and so the decision was made for the game to become part of Star Fox as a launch title for the Nintendo GameCube.
The SharpClaw is kidnapping The Cloudrunner princess, Kate. Krystal try to rescue the young princess, but she is too busy dealing a "decoys".

Yeah I remember the whole story behind the development of Dinosaur Planet. Anyway, regardless of Krystal, she is an awesome character and a welcome addition to the Starfox series like how Zelda is to the Zelda series or Peach to the Mario series. I doubt that Miyamoto and Nintendo will kill her off. If they wanted to do that, they could have done that long ago. But they haven't and I don't think that it's going to happen not to happen that she has a big fanbase in the Starfox series like how Wolf is. As for this pic, she just kicks ass with her staff and did I forget to mention that she looks cute when she's like that?

Yeah. After all she has been the most requested female character to be playable since Brawl. Not to mention that the fact she has a big fanbase who actually love this character like any other female Nintendo character like Zelda, Peach and Samus for instance. To be honest, I think that Krystal, Samus, Zelda and Peach are by the only 4 female Nintendo characters who have the biggest fanbases. Also, utilizing her staff from Adventures would make her completely different from being a Fox clone and she would be the second staff user alongside with Palutena.

Don't take this the wrong way I have nothing against their Decision to put fox in the game I actually enjoyed it but it would've been a bit better if they kept some of the stuff and characters from the original version. ...damn that Microsoft buyout

Dinosaur planet will always be number one and wish they would hope that Nintendo and Rare would unite again to fix there problem and make such a Memorable game to proper idea's.

Krystal could be the respected heroine, if she could kick some badguys by herself. Problem was that she lose her chance being the main character in her own game and became the support character for StarFox's hero, Fox. Also in StarFox Adventures she was kinda defenseless character soon at start, when she lost her staff. She couldn't defend herself and she got captived soon after.
It is kinda sad really.

But she did try to attack General Scales, even so she had
no chance to begin with. That was..silly, but brave..(or the other way around xD)
One thing though, does confuse me. It is said, that Krystal is a cat (at least, that's
what I always read), yet today, I saw something which said things like
the wolf and foy-tribe. So..she's a Vixen after all?
Even so I'm sure, that many people would be interested in playing that game,Nintendo
would never re-release it, since the final product ruined it..so to say.

Well original Krystal was a cat in RARE's designs. Become a vixen turned Krystal to popular character in the fandom. ( Probadly reason to be Fox's love interest in the game. Fox + Fox mating stuff. Since in Dinosaur Planet Sabre was Krystal's love interest. Cat + Cat mating. )
